Wheaton College Graduate School

Founded in 1937, Wheaton College Graduate School offers advanced theological and ministry training designed to enhance your professional education and holistic development. Through doctoral and masters degrees taught by world-class faculty, you will be prepared for effective service in your chosen field.

With alumni serving in over 100 countries and on 6 continents worldwide, the mission of Wheaton College Graduate School is to form servant scholars and leaders through exceptional graduate programs for Christ and His Kingdom. 

We Believe...

Our shared theological beliefs shape everything we do at the Wheaton College Graduate School. Originally written in 1924 by Wheaton’s second president, Charles Blanchard, the Statement of Faith guides the leadership, faculty, and students of Wheaton as an academic community of faith.

Our Degree Programs

Wheaton College Graduate School offers doctoral and masters degree programs in the areas of psychology, education, ministry, leadership, and bible/theology. Each program is designed to provide excellent training in theory and praxis from a distinctly Christian perspective.

We offer a variety of programs that stress the concepts, principles, history, and methods of the theological disciplines:

The graduate psychology programs are nationally accredited professional degrees that prepare students for licensure.

Graduate students completing a degree in the Christian Formation and Ministry Department can choose from two degrees: An M.A. in Christian Formation and Ministry with a concentration in Student Development or a new M.A. in Outdoor and Adventure Leadership.

Teaching

Wheaton College offers two licenses for Master of Arts programs, the Elementary (1-6) License and the Secondary (6-12) License. The M.A.T. program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
