Wheaton on Tap: One-tap access to the tools you need, from your phone

By saving the Wheaton Portal as an app on your phone, you will have one-tap access to the Portal, where you can fill out your timecard, see what’s on the menu at Anderson Commons, enter a Facilities work order, and view the campus events calendar. Remember, the Portal is the place you go for the things you need to do your job.

Save the Portal as an app on an iOS device

  1. Open the Safari app and navigate to portal.wheaton.edu.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see an icon depicting a rectangle with an arrow pointing upward. Tap this button.
  3. This will open a few options. The one you want to select is Add to Home Screen (you may need to swipe to the left to see this option).
  4. You will be asked to select a name for the homescreen icon. Type “Wheaton Portal” and select Add.
  5. When you’re done, the app will appear on your homescreen.

Save the Portal as an app on an Android device

  1. Open the Chrome app and navigate to portal.wheaton.edu.
  2. Tap the menu button and tap Add to homescreen.
  3. You will be asked to select a name for the homescreen icon. Type “Wheaton Portal” and save the app.
  4. When you’re done, the app will appear on your homescreen.
