Changes to Voicemail Settings

Effective Date: January 31, 2017

Beginning on January 31, 2017, we will make two changes to voicemail accounts. These changes will prevent inboxes from overfilling and allow important messages to be archived more easily. After January 31, 2017, all voicemails older than 90 days will be deleted. For future messages, they will be deleted 90 days after they are received.

For new voicemail accounts, voicemails will be delivered by email rather than directly to the phone. The email will have an audio file of the voicemail as an attachment.

Key Benefits and Features

  • This will prevent voicemail inboxes from filling up and being unable to accept new messages
  • This change makes it easier to save audio files of important messages for longer than 90 days.
