M.A. in Theology Learning Outcomes

As a result of completing the M.A. in Theology program at Wheaton College, students will achieve the following learning outcomes:

  1. Students will learn to think from a biblical, evangelical foundation and responsibly interpret Scripture.
  2. Students will develop an interdisciplinary understanding of the relationship between Christian theology and the liberal arts.
  3. Students will obtain a scholarly understanding of the diverse Christian theological heritage.
  4. Students will gain familiarity with contemporary, global developments in Christian theology.
  5. Students will develop skills in speaking, writing, and teaching toward professional, and vocational goals.
