Anna Mares '26
International Relations Major and Spanish Minor
Elizabeth is pursuing an M.A. in History of Christianity at Wheaton College. Previously, she earned her M.A. in Library and Information Science at the University of Iowa and her B.A. in English at Gordon College. While at the University of Iowa, Elizabeth worked in the Writing Center and the University Libraries. She loves walking alongside students and peers as they explore their research questions and is grateful for the opportunity to practice the art of writing with others.
For Anna, writing "is like wrestling. You often need to re-work the same paragraph or sentence again and again, approaching it from different angles, until you've found the best way to convey your ideas succinctly."
