Set up Wi-Fi Calling on Your Cell Phone

Do you ever find yourself without cell service around campus?  It’s not uncommon for this to happen in the lower level of Meyer Science Center or in the basement of Billy Graham Hall.  Unfortunately, in those moments you are not able to send or receive text messages or phone calls on your cell phone.

But good news!  There is a solution to this!  You will want to enable Wi-Fi Calling on your mobile device.  There are only a few steps to take, and then you won’t need to miss text messages or worry that you can’t make a phone call.

In addition, this also ensures that you will receive emergency notifications from Wheaton College (such as tornado warnings or active shooter drills).  We encourage everyone to make sure they can receive these messages.
