Alyssa’s responsibilities include the development and oversight of the marketing, branding, and promotion of the arts at Wheaton, which includes enrollment marketing for the arts and promotion of campus events. Her work consists of the management of all print, web, email, and social media marketing for the Wheaton College Division of the Conservatory of Music, Arts, and Communication, including the Artist Series, and the Community School of the Arts.

Alyssa earned a B.A. in international business with a minor in studio art Taylor University. Following graduation, she worked in Dallas, TX for Global Media Outreach, in global digital marketing and campaign management, and then ran the donor development department. In 2017 she was in the midst of starting her own LLC advertising agency when her mom, a ’77 Wheaton grad, passed along the opening for the Marketing Specialist for the Arts position. Seeing that it was the perfect mix of her skills and passions she packed her bags and moved up to Illinois.

While working at Wheaton she completed the M.A. in Biblical Studies program and officially became a Wheatie in May 2022. While Alyssa still considers Colorado to be her home state, she now calls Saint Charles home where she lives with her husband, Josh, and dog, Magnus. After work, you can find Alyssa throwing the disc with the Wheaton Ultimate pick-up group, cycling, writing, drawing & painting, or experimenting with new recipes.
