Reporting to the Director of Brand and Content Strategies, the Social Media Specialist leads the College’s institutional social media efforts: strategizing, creating, posting, and monitoring content, analyzing effectiveness, and actively engaging on behalf of the College. She tells the story of Wheaton College through video, photography, and messages on the College’s institutional YouTube, Facebook, X, and Instagram accounts.

Raised in the suburbs of Illinois, Alina started this position in 2023, building on a rich history with Wheaton College since 2016, which includes summer jobs, internships, and a B.A. in Studio Art. As a passionate photographer and nature lover, she channels her creativity and admiration for the outdoors into captivating visuals. When she's not crafting her next adventure, she finds social media to be a valuable tool for meaningful causes that challenge her creatively.
