Campus-Wide Printer Survey October 25 - 28

Effective Date: October 25 - 28 2016

From October 25 to 28, there will be a survey of all College-owned printers. This survey will help catalogue and map campus printers in order to provide a cost-saving and efficiency analysis to Purchasing and AIT. As part of the survey, AIT staff will work with outside vendors to physically locate and document each printer on campus.


This survey will help the College:

  • examine and document how and where printers are used on campus

  • identify opportunities to save costs and use resources more wisely

Impact on College Community

  • From October 25 -28, AIT will work with an outside vendor to:

    • Locate each printer.

    • Take a photo of the printer's location.

    • Print a configuration page.

  • Outside print surveyors will be accompanied by AIT employees.

  • You do not need to take any action for the survey. Surveyors will be as non-disruptive as possible.
