Schoology: Wheaton College's New Learning Management System
Updated: November 3, 2016
Last year, Wheaton College chose Schoology to replace Blackboard as its learning management system. During this transition, the Faculty LMS Transition committee will provide faculty input and guidance for Schoology's development and implementation.
We want to be sure that all faculty members are comfortable using Schoology in order to make this transition as smooth as possible. The following training sessions are available to any staff or faculty member, as well as teaching assistants.
You can watch recorded training sessions here (you may be asked to sign in). This folder includes other resources curated for Wheaton College.
Once you've started using Schoology, the following options are available:
- For technical questions or help with specific features, 24/7 support is available via chat, phone, or email in Schoology's Help Center.
- For help with instructional design or migrating content from Blackboard, or to request access for a TA or staff member, please contact Academic and Institutional Technology or call 630.752.4357.
- After completing training, faculty members are welcome to schedule one-on-one sessions with technical staff. Contact us to schedule a session.
You can read more about how Schoology was selected here.
