Wheaton College uses a platform called Merit to publish and share student stories with students’ hometown newspapers, government representatives, and local high schools. Each year, we use Merit to highlight students' participation in sports teams and clubs, performances in drama and theater, and academic honors and awards.
Here are some of this month’s top Merit stories:
To earn Dean’s List honors at Wheaton, students must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.
Wheaton College junior Aston Francis was selected as one of ten male finalists for the 2018 Jostens Trophy. Each year, the Jostens Trophy honors the most outstanding men’s and women’s NCAA Division III basketball players. The award takes into account basketball ability, academic achievements, and community service.
The Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra performed a concert titled “North, South, East, and West,” which featured music from Norway, South America, China, France and the United States.
