Installation of Phones in Conference and Seminar Rooms

Effective Date: April 20, 2017

Beginning in May, we will install phones in every conference and seminar room on campus.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Provides an easy way to do audio conferencing
  • Allows for emergency notifications in rooms that do not currently have phones

Impact on College Community

Beginning in April, we will contact departments who own or supervise a conference or seminar room to discuss the installation of the phone(s).

The phone model we are providing is the Cisco 7811, which includes a built-in speakerphone that can be used for audio conferencing. Departments can purchase a different model of phone for us to install if they would like.
