Julianna Pinelli is excited to be a Graduate Resident Adviser serving in the Michigan-Crescent Apartments and in the Office of Student Involvement. She was born and raised on Long Island, New York, which is a place she loves. Julianna has slowly made her way west by attending and graduating from Cornerstone University, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Throughout her time at CU, Julianna held various leadership roles within the Student Development Department. She fell in love with investing in the lives of college students and creating sacred environments for them to belong, connect, and grow. Now, having traveled slightly more west, Julianna is excited to be pursuing her M.A. in Higher Education and Student Development from Wheaton College. Julianna loves going for walks, drinking coffee, serving in her local church, and spending time with family and friends.

I am super excited to be a part of the community on campus. I was born and raised in Detroit, MI. Teaching and training up generations in the ways of the Lord are my heart's desires. My love for higher education became even more evident while studying as an undergrad. There is a wise saying, “Behind every student who believes in themselves is a teacher who believes in them first.”  Their fueling of Christlike love, wisdom, and kindness of past professors/mentors/pastors inspired me to walk into the plans that God had for me. I pray I can continue to also be that for all students as they journey through college. I love learning, serving, and bringing people closer to Jesus which brings me the greatest joy. I am super excited to serve and be a sister in Christ on campus this year.

Haley KleinHaley Klein

Christopher Newport University
B.A., American Studies, concentration in Humanities
Wheaton College Graduate School
M.A., Higher Education and Student Development, in progress

Haley is returning for her second year as a  Graduate Resident Adviser serving Saint and Elliot Apartments and the Office of Christian Outreach. She was adopted from Mississippi and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, and recently moved to Wheaton from Austin, Texas.

Her passion for young adult discipleship originated during her studies at Christopher Newport University. While serving as worship leader for a unity ministry there, she participated in a spiritual renewal among countless young people in Virginia’s Peninsula. Over the last three years in Austin she and her husband grew a heart for intercessory prayer. Just before moving to Wheaton they saw the beginnings of a city-wide response to Jesus in Austin. She is actively partnering with God’s heart for awakening in his people on Wheaton’s campus and beyond.

Haley loves (in no particular order) thoughtfully furnishing homes, worship and prayer, walking her German Shepherd Mix named Boone, trail running then lifting heavy things, and dating her husband Benjamin.
