Example Course Schedules

Below are examples* of degree completion timelines and course schedules for the M.A. in TESOL and Intercultural Studies. These examples represent the traditional Residential model (students living in Wheaton/Chicagoland attending in-person classes) if completed in 1 year*, and the TESOL Flex model (blend of residential and online formats where students typically take courses on campus in the summer) in 2 and 3 year models. For TESOL Flex, full-time or part-time examples are outlined. Fully online/remote only models are also options.

*Course models below only serve to illustrate a few examples of how a student may move through the degree program, and are not meant to be reflective of a universal standard

**The Residential program may also be completed in 2 years (or more, depending on situation), and students in this program format may select from face-to-face or online sections for some courses to accommodate schedules and program length goals.
