Microsoft Teams Meeting Conference Number available Thursday 9/9/21
This Thursday, September 9, AIT will be turning on the Microsoft 365 Audio Conferencing for Microsoft Teams. This is not part of the Microsoft Teams Voice transition, rather it is part of the overall Teams expanded functionality. When this is activated, a dial-in number will be added to your Microsoft Teams meeting invitations. This number will provide the ability for your audience to call into the Teams meeting, which is especially useful if they do not have a computer available. More details can be found here.
On Thursday, September 9, when this feature is turned on, you will receive an automated email which will provide additional information. The subject line will be: “You now have Audio Conferencing for Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business Online – Here is your dial-in information and PIN”
Please note that this is NOT part of the Microsoft Teams Voice transition which will happen on Wednesday, September 29.
