Google Storage Limit Now in Effect

Effective Date: May 17, 2022

Beginning on May 17, 2022, we will be enforcing a 50 GB limit for Google storage for all my.wheaton.edu addresses. This is due to Google Workspace for Education (formerly known as G Suite for Education) doing away with unlimited storage. To prepare for this change people need to review their current storage usage and delete any unnecessary files in Drive, Gmail, and Photos.

Key Benefits and Features

  • This change will keep costs low while also providing adequate storage for our constituents.

Impact on College Community

Most people will not notice this change.  We have reached out specifically to those who have over 50 GB in their storage with information about how to move their data elsewhere.
