Morgan currently teaches with Beethoven’s Buddies, a premiere music program for students with disabilities.  This includes private BB piano lessons as well as directing Clementi’s Colorful Chimes, an ensemble for students with disabilities.  Morgan is also certified in MusikGarten curriculum for Keyboard and Cycle of Seasons. 

While attending Wheaton College Conservatory of Music, Morgan was the recipient of multiple awards for musical and academic excellence, including the B. Falkenberg Fogg Scholarship, Percussion Scholarship, and Class of 1987 Scholarship.  She was also active in multiple ensembles, including as pianist for the Wheaton College Jazz Ensemble, but most notably as principal percussionist, vice-president, and president for the Wheaton College Symphonic Band.  In addition to her pedagogy training under Dr. Beth Bauer, Morgan also studied percussion with Dr. Kathleen Kastner and Michael Folker.

Currently, Morgan is pursuing a Masters in Special Education (LBS1) at Northern Illinois University.  She is passionate about educating students with disabilities and loves sharing her excitement for music with them through ensemble and solo work.  She believes that music should be enjoyable to learn and loves striving towards excellence by working closely with her students and their families.
