Troy Albuck enlisted into the United States Army Reserves in 1983. He commissioned as an Infantry officer from the Reserve Officer’s Training Corps program in 1987. He currently serves as a Department of the Army contracted Senior Military Science Instructor at Wheaton College.

He is married to Valerie Albuck and they have two young sons and a daughter.

Awards include the Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal with 2 OLC, Army Good Conduct Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service and Expeditionary Medals, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, Saudi Arabia Defense Medal, the National Defense Service Medal with Star, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraqi Combat Medal, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, the Overseas Service Medal with numeral 5, the NATO ISAF Medal, an Army Meritorious Unit Citation, the Parachutist Badge, the Ranger Tab and the Combat Infantryman’s Badge with Star.
