Psychology Learning Outcomes

As a result of completing the undergraduate Psychology program at Wheaton College, students will achieve the following learning outcomes:

  1. Students should know current research findings in human behavior (and relevant comparative animal behavior)
  2. Students should know methods of how to scientifically study or critically analyze scientific studies of human behavior (and relevant comparative animal behavior)
  3. Students should be able to evaluate presuppositions of prevailing psychological theories/principles and reflect deeply about them in light of their Christian beliefs and worldview.
  4. Students are encouraged to gain relevant hands‐on experience with applications of psychology in research, internships, or fieldwork.
