After a season of outstanding leadership, Dr. Margaret Diddams has decided to step down as Provost at the end of this academic year. Provost Diddams has made many excellent contributions to Wheaton College and her service as Provost has established an enduring legacy. We are confident that God has been at work preparing someone exceptional to build on this legacy to serve as our next Provost.
We invite qualified candidates who may be interested in applying to review the position profile and job description for Wheaton’s next Provost.
President Ryken has appointed a search committee composed of Wheaton College faculty, staff, and administrators to work with him and with co-chair Dr. Terri Watson, who serves as Dean and Professor of Psychology, Counseling, and Family Therapy. The committee will receive letters of interest and curriculum vitae through March 9, 2020. Interviews with select candidates will occur later in the spring semester, and we hope to finalize an appointment in advance of the 2020-2021 academic year.
We invite you to pray along with the Wheaton College community that we may glorify God and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the selection of our next Provost.
