Parents, grandparents, and siblings are invited to come and experience the heartbeat of campus this fall!

9 am – 3 pm Family Weekend Welcome Table|Great Book Giveaway
Have a question about the weekend? Stop by the welcome table in the lower level of the Beamer Center to learn more about weekend campus activities. While you are there, pick up a book or two (compliments of the Wheaton College Alumni Association), grab a complimentary cup of coffee, and get to know fellow parents at an informal meet and greet in the Fireside Lounge.

Calling all rising 9th-12th grade siblings! Participate in an official “visit” to Wheaton while waiting for your older sibling to get out of class. Take a campus tour, learn about Wheaton, and attend chapel. Advanced registration required – REGISTER HERE.  Email visit.wheaton@wheaton.edu with any questions!

Every Friday before home games, the football team gathers for worship. This week's speaker will be businessman and former player, Mr. John Chung '88. Everyone is invited to come take part in the service.

7:00 pm College Union Talent Show 
Come be amazed at the talents of Wheaton College students! This popular Family Weekend event attracts over 1,500 spectators each year. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are required and will be sold online only. No cash accepted. $10 if purchased in advance and $12 at the door. Purchase tickets.

7:30 pm Arena Theater presents “Guys and Dolls”
Set against the backdrop of New York’s Times Square, Guys and Dolls is the prototype of the goofball Broadway musical. Follow the unlikely lovers – the showgirl, the “fixer”, the high-stakes gambler, and the street evangelist – as they negotiate their own unique and perilous journeys to love and marriage. Tickets are required and are $12.65 each.

Join with other Wheaton parents to hear a special devotional message from President Ryken and pray together for students and Wheaton College. Coffee, tea, and light pastries will be provided. There is no cost to attend, but advance registration is required.

The Marion E. Wade Center Open House and Story Time
The Marion E. Wade Center presents Story Time at the Wade, featuring an abridged retelling of George MacDonald’s The Light Princess on Saturday, November 4, at 11:00 a.m.

A princess is cursed with constant weightlessness until one day love finally brings her back down to earth for good. Enjoy this classic Victorian fairytale by George MacDonald whose work had a profound influence on the tales of both C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. 

The Light Princess will be available for purchase in the Wade bookshop. Stop by before or after the event to enjoy the museum (tours and scavenger hunts available), bookshop, gardens, and reading room.

This event is appropriate for children ages 5 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Storytime At the Wade will take place in the Wade Center’s Bakke Auditorium and is free and open to the public.

The Wade Center is located at 351 Lincoln Avenue on the northwest corner of campus at the intersection of Washington St. and Lincoln Ave. Visitor parking is located in the parking lot on the east side of Washington Street.

Walking Tour of Billy Graham’s Wheaton
This free tour highlights sites on the Wheaton College campus and greater community where Billy Graham lived, studied, socialized, served, and preached during his undergraduate education at Wheaton College from 1940-1943.

The tour covers 1.5 miles and takes two hours. Attendees should wear comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella. The tour will proceed in light drizzle, but not in heavy rain. Any age is welcome to participate if they are comfortable walking for two hours. No strollers or baby carriages, please.

The Wheaton College Conservatory of Music presents a Family Weekend Concert featuring the Concert Choir, Men's Glee Club, and Women's Chorale. Admission is free. Watch the concert live at wheaton.edu/streaming
