2022-2023 Student Leadership Opportunities

Student Leadership opportunities cultivate students’ capacity to flourish in community, invest time and energy in active learning through practical service, and advance the interests of others as a response to following Jesus.  And honestly, it's a blast to meet new people while serving the Wheaton community together!

The following leadership teams are currently recruiting student leaders for the 2022-23 school year. Follow the links for more information on each team's application process and watch this short video to learn more.

  • Chapel Band Leader selections are underway
  • Student Chaplain applications and references have been extended to February 2 at 11:59pm CST. Please provide one staff/faculty reference (preferably not from the Chaplain's Office) and one peer reference.
  • Discipleship Ministries Cabinet and Coach applications and references are due Friday, February 4 at 11:59pm CST. All relevant information, including the application/reference links and job descriptions, can be found at dmwheaton.com
  • Discipleship Ministries Leader applications and references are due Friday, March 18 at 11:59pm CST. All relevant information, including the application/reference links and job descriptions, can be found at dmwheaton.com.
  • Class Chaplain and Chapel Band Member applications will be made available through a campus-wide email in March.

Represent Wheaton by giving campus tours and showing hospitality to prospective students through the Admissions Office! Grow personally and professionally through training and community. Applicants should be freshmen (sophomores during the 22-23 academic year).

Passage Student Leaders offer a warm welcome to incoming first year or transfer students. You have the opportunity to help new students start their Wheaton journey! Every Passage Leader helps welcome students on campus and also works with students at one of four site locations: 
  • Wilderness 
  • Northwoods
  • Urban
  • Transfer (Chicago)
