Christ at the Core Fall Series 2017

The Christ at the Core Fall Series featured co-curricular events throughout the 2017 fall semester that highlighted key themes of the new core curriculum and the First Year Seminar in particular. These multi-disciplinary events provide Wheaton College the opportunity to dialogue together about the enduring value and significance of studying the liberal arts in a Christ-centered community.

Wrestle on, Jacob: Race in American Culture

An exploration of race in American culture through the lens of history, music, art, and preaching with meditations on the artwork featured in the current exhibit, “Wrestle On, Jacob” in Blanchard Hall. Speakers include Dr. Theon Hill, Dr. Karen Johnson, Dr. Shawn Okpebholo, and Dr. Vincent Bacote.
