Wheaton in the Holy Lands is a six-week program, structured into two blocks of three weeks each. During the first three weeks students, under the tutelage of Wheaton College and Jerusalem University College faculty, study the life and times of Jesus and his Apostles in the historical and geographical context of the land of Israel; in the second three weeks, students, instructed by Wheaton College professors with the assistance of local historical guides, follow in the steps of Paul through Greece, study Christian theology where some of the earliest New Testament churches were planted, and learn about church and empire on Patmos and in Rome.
This program can be taken as a partial alternative to the general education requirements in the Biblical & Theological Studies or Biblical Archaeology major.
