Wheaton College offers generous merit scholarships and need-based aid to students. Each year more than 30 million dollars are awarded in financial assistance to help make a Wheaton education more affordable.

The Presidential Scholarships, named after Wheaton College’s historic leaders, extend the College’s investment in students who demonstrate deepening Christian faith and significant academic achievement in their schools and communities.

Wheaton College offers many types of merit scholarships to help make a Wheaton experience more attainable for multicultural students and families.

Aequitas Fellows

The Aequitas Program in Urban Studies will admit 10-20 students – Aequitas Fellows – from among the most qualified applicants to Wheaton College. Each Aequitas Fellow receives a combination of a merit scholarship and other funded experiences equivalent to $5,000 per year.

Need-Based Scholarships

In addition to merit-based scholarships, Wheaton also offers substantial need-based aid. 

To apply for need-based financial aid:

  1. File the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
  2. Submit Verification Documents as Requested
