Community Memberships for the Chrouser Sports Complex are available at cost to area residents, alumni and missionaries. These memberships are offered with the understanding that participation is restricted to the hours and facilities available for general, non-programmed use.
Facilities for community use include the pool, track, and Strength and Conditioning Room. Gymnasiums, dance studio and climbing wall are available on a limited basis. The functional fitness room, laboratory for Applied Health Science, remains closed for public use. Availability of certain facilities may be restricted or extended upon notice.
Community use is discouraged on weekdays between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00pm due to the increased student usage during this time.
All community members must present I.D. upon entering the complex. Community members are expected to abide by all user guidelines.
October 1, 2019 - September 30, 2020, prorates not available
- Individual Membership (18 or older): $500.00
- Individual + 1 (same household): $750.00
- Family Membership (Parent(s) and legal dependent) $1,000.00
Prices effective October 1, 2016
- Individual Membership (18 or older): $150.00 /quarter
- Individual + 1 (same household): $225.00/quarter
- Family Membership (Parent(s) and legal dependent): $300.00/quarter
Renewal Process. Community Membership is renewed on a quarterly basis. Membership payment may be made at the complex Front Desk or through thunder.clubautomation.com (renewals only). Membership quarters start January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1.
Activation Fee. All new, non-alumni members pay an activation fee of $50.00. Community members (other than alumni members) who take more than four quarter away from membership will be asked to pay the $50 in order to reactivate their membership.
Wheaton College Alumni are not required to pay the $50 Activation Fee.

Wheaton College Alumni, Wheaton area residents, and visiting friends of students, staff/faculty and complex community members may use the complex at any time by paying the nominal Guest Pass Fee ($10 for one day).
During Homecoming Weekend & Alumni Weekend, all Wheaton College alumni may use the complex for free. Anyone using the facility must sign a liability waiver at the Front Desk.
Immediate family of Wheaton College students, staff or faculty members may use the complex for free when visiting from out of town.
McCully Complex Membership
Residents of the local community may access the McCully Complex (Outdoor track, McCully Football Field and Bean Soccer Field) for an annual cost of $10. Membership cards may be purchased at the complex Front Desk.
Available from May 15 – August 15, the complex summer membership allows use of the facility during the summer months. Regular quarterly rates apply.
All guests of summer members are subject to guest pass charges.
