Alpha Partnership

Be inspired. Be challenged. Be equipped.

Originally, a church in London developed as a short course about the Christian faith. In 1990, Nicky Gumbel took over running Alpha and found that many people outside of the church wanted to explore the Christian faith. Alpha now runs in every part of the global church, including the Catholic Church,  the Orthodox Church, and all mainline Protestant denominations.

In 2014, Wheaton College partnered with Alpha USA to offer graduate degrees at a discounted rate. Together, Wheaton College and Alpha are working together to offer individuals a faith-based education to take their ministry to the next level. Degrees such as an M.A. in Evangelism and Leadership or an M.A. in Missional Church Movements are available for individuals in the Alpha network.
