The Wheaton Engineering Scholars Award is given annually to one or more promising incoming freshman engineering students. It can be renewed for a second year pending good academic performance in the first year. To apply for this scholarship, please compose a 1-2 page essay that addresses the following questions (Deadline for submission is February 2, 2018):
1. Why are you interested in pursuing engineering?
2. What type or types of engineering interest you most?
3. What extracurricular activities have you been involved in that relate to engineering (clubs, competitions, etc.)?
4. What do you aspire to do as a Christian engineer once you have graduated from Wheaton?
Selections for this award are ongoing. Thanks to all that participated for the 2018-2019 academic year. We look forward to another round next year!
