Trevor McFadden PoliSci IR AlumnusMy years at Wheaton prepared me in numerous ways for a life in the legal profession. First and foremost, it instilled in me a deep desire to do justice, a core foundation for every good prosecutor.  Second, my Wheaton education taught me to read critically and think logically, both of which are necessary skills for a lawyer.  I also learned a lot about servant leadership at Wheaton, both modeled by the College's leaders and then practiced as a student leader in Student Government and Discipleship Small Groups. These lessons have been important for me previously as a law firm partner and now as a senior executive at the U.S. Justice Department.  Finally, Wheaton instilled in me a love of learning, which has helped me survive and thrive as I've moved into new and challenging legal positions.
