Welcome to the International Student Programs Office (ISP)!

At Wheaton College, the International Student Programs Office (ISP) is here to support F-1 international students, missionary kids (MKs), and third-culture kids (TCKs) as you navigate college life in the United States. Whether you are returning to the U.S. education system or experiencing it for the first time, we are excited to walk alongside you.

Our goal is to help you thrive—academically, socially, and spiritually. Through a wide range of programs and services, we want you to experience a true sense of belonging at Wheaton, fully engage with your education, and take part in meaningful leadership and service opportunities.

You are welcome here—and we look forward to helping you make Wheaton your home!

International Apartments

The International Apartments community lives in on-campus apartments and provides a space for fellowship where students can gather, receive encouragement, and build meaningful relationships across cultures and with domestic students. All students are welcome to attend events at the International Apartments, where you can learn about God's global kingdom and fellowship with students around the world.

Axis

Axis exists to support the development and success of international (F-1 Visa/MK/TCK) students through programs that facilitate dynamic relationships within ISP and between the international and broader campus community. Please stop by the ISP office at the North end of lower Beamer to learn more about Axis. Or, come meet us at one of our many events throughout the year!

MuKappa Student Group Photo

MuKappa

MuKappa exists to create meaningful Christ-centered relationships among TCKs, while also creating an international community that fosters belonging for anyone who has experienced cross cultural transitions.  MuKappa gathers weekly for Sunday dinners, hosts the campus Espionage game and attends Snow Camp each year.

Ladder Student Group Photo

Ladder

Ladder provides 1-on-1 guidance and support for new first-year and transfer international students (F-1 visa, MK and TCK).  Ladder leaders help new students navigate their transition to Wheaton by building friendships with them and making connections to people and resources on campus.  While enjoying coffee dates and movie nights with new students, the Ladder team comes together to support one another and make fun memories.
