Although we do love our trees, majoring in environmental science extends far beyond conservation and protection. The discipline of environmental science involves the systematic study of the environment and our place in it including interactions between human activities, the natural environment, and human health. From mitigating small-scale environmental challenges in Wheaton to large-scale global crises, environmental science creates a more sustainable world for all of creation.
