Overnight Stay Details
We are planning to offer an overnight stay in the residence halls with a current student for #myWheaton Days, our admitted student event. Students will be asked if they would like to stay overnight in the residence halls when they register for #myWheaton Days.
We are excited to host you on campus and know that seeing what life is like in the residence halls is an important part of your college decision!
Covid-19 Guidance
For students who wish to stay overnight in a residence hall, we will require the visiting student to either present a vaccination card OR present a negative Covid-19 test at time of check-in for the event. The negative Covid-19 test must be no more than 3 days old. Visiting students will be paired with a current student host; all current student hosts are either vaccinated or receive regular Covid-19 testing.
We look forward to hosting you, with the understanding that the public health situation may require a change of plans. We will communicate quickly should we no longer be able to provide an overnight stay on campus, knowing that you are making travel plans.
Overnight housing is on a first come, first served basis and may not be available for all who request it.
Please reschedule your visit to campus if either of the following apply:
- You are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms (e.g. fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, or loss of taste or smell)
- You have recently (within the last 10 days) been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19 or tested positive for COVID-19
Parents Welcome!
Our entire event (aside from the overnight stay) is designed to be parent and family friendly. Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend the Opening Program, Welcome Banquet, Chapel, Academic Sessions, and more. We ask that admitted students only attend classes, due to space.
