Andrew Hill, Ph.D.

Professor of Old Testament Emeritus

"Great are the works of the LORD, studied by all who delight in them"(Ps. 111:2, NRSV). Andrew E. Hill is Professor of Old Testament at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, where he has held a faculty appointment in the Biblical & Theological Studies Department since 1984. His graduate training includes: M.Div. with Christian Education emphasis(Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary, 1984) and M.A. and Ph.D. in Near Eastern Studies(University of Michigan, 1978, 1981). In addition, Professor Hill has served Wheaton College as General Education Coordinator(1990-93) and BTS Department Chair(1998-2001).

Professor Hill has been affiliated with Robert E. Webber and the Institute of Worship Studies(IWS) since 1992, and has taught "Biblical Foundations of Worship" as an adjunct faculty member for the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies since 1999. He is the author of Enter His Courts with Praise!(Grand Rapids: Baker, 1996).
