Dan Haase

Associate Lecturer of Christian Formation and Ministry

Wheaton College is truly my home. Since the summer of 2000, I have lived with my family in Smith-Traber Hall, where my wife, Kat, is the Residence Director. I homeschooled my two boys from 2006-2016, while also teaching in the CFM Department, starting in 2003. In brief, my vision for teaching and learning can be summed up in this phrase: love to learn; learn to love. I delight in adventuring with students through the joys and sorrows of life inside and outside the classroom. I oversee the Discipleship Certificate as well as the internships and practica for the department. I teach the following courses: First Year Seminar, Ministry in Culture, Teaching for Transformation, Christian Spiritual Practices, Spiritual Guidance & Discernment, Spiritual Formation in Community, Teaching the Bible, and Bible in Ministry. I enjoy gardening, poetry, and art.
