The Art Department will be sponsoring Advent prayer in the Anglican Tradition in “The Sky Chapel” (Adams 301).

Mon. Dec. 4, Wed. Dec. 6, and Fri. Dec. 8 (8:30am and 4:30pm). The service takes half an hour.

The Human Needs and Global Resources Department is hosting an 'Advent Market' where international, fair-trade artisans will be selling their products, many of which make fantastic Christmas presents. There will be several vendors, including Ten Thousand Villages, Re:New, Amani, and PLAEP. We want to encourage the Wheaton community to support these fair-trade, ethically-sourced artisans with their Christmas purchases this season.

Community School of the Arts Suzuki String students present "Bluegrass and Beyond" a Christmas concert celebrating the birth of Christ with musical traditions from around the world. More than 300 students ages 4 through high school will perform versions of familiar Christmas favorites from a Bluegrass version of "Go Tell It on the Mountain", to a Klezmer "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" to Pentatonix's "Mary Did You Know". Audience participation is encouraged.
