Join us at HoneyRock for our yearly fall retreat, hosted for alumni and friends of Wheaton College and HoneyRock (for ages 50+)

Northwoods Adventure at HoneyRock is a time for you to enjoy the company of fellow Wheaties, HoneyRock alumni (and their friends!), and the beautiful colors and weather of a Northwoods fall. While you are here, you can participate in many activities, such as guided nature walks, horseback riding, pontoon boat rides, swimming, fishing, canoeing, and much more.
There will also be special events like a variety show, classes, and unique activity offerings, as well as devotions and group sessions lead by guest speakers. We look forward to welcoming new and returning Northwoods Adventure retreat guests back to HoneyRock this September!

Full-week attendees can check in between 1:30 and 5:15 on Monday, September 23. Long Weekend attendees can check in on Thursday, September 26.

Northwoods Adventure Housing & Cost Options
Cost:
Full Week | $380/person Half Week | $190/person
Cost includes activities, classes, meals, and cabin housing. Depending on cabin size, two couples or groups of singles may be assigned. Linens provided.
Cost:
Full Week: $300/person Half Week: $150/person
Cost includes activities, classes, meals, and cabin housing. Dorms are one story and near the Chrouser Dining and Activity Center. Male and female rooms are separate. Linens provided.
Cost:
Full Week: $200/person Half Week: $100/person
Cost includes activities, classes, and meals only.
How to Register for Northwoods Adventure
There are two ways you can register for Northwoods Adventure: register online or register by paper form:
- Register for our Full Week Option
- Register for our Long Weekend Option
If you'd like to use a paper form to register for Northwoods Adventure, email Leah Wolf at leah.wolf@wheaton.edu or call her at 630-752-6024.
Click the plus signs (+) below to view instructions for online registration.
If you've attended any HoneyRock event in the past (i.e., Northwoods Adventure, registered a camper for summer camp, etc.), then you already have an online account with us.
If you have questions, please reach out to our Guest Group Program Manager, Leah Wolf, at 630-752-6024.
Here’s how you can access your pre-existing online account:
- Click Here to Access Your Account
- Provide your email address and password
- If you do not remember your login credentials, you can either contact HoneyRock or go through the steps on the log-in page to recover your account information).
Those steps will get you into your account. Once there, follow the instructions below.
Below are the Instructions for Registering (Yourself or You & Your Spouse) Online
If you need any assistance with the online registration process, please reach out to our Guest Group Program Manager, Leah Wolf, at 630-752-6024.
To Register Yourself:
1. Click “+New Registration”
2. Select “Register Myself”
3. Select “Northwoods Adventure” from the available options
4. Choose housing option A, B, or C based on your preference. Press “Continue”
5. Answer Additional Questions. Press “Continue”
6. Agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Risk Waiver. Press “Continue”
7. Press “Continue to Checkout”
8. Pay the minimum deposit of $100 via Credit Card or E-check. Press “pay” at the bottom of the page.
9. Registration Complete!
To Register Yourself and Your Spouse
1. Click “+New Registration”
2. Select “Register my Family”
3. Select “Northwoods Adventure” from the available options
4. Choose housing option A, B, or C based on your preferences
5. Select the correct members of your family that are attending. Press “Continue”
a. Confirm the personal information of each member by pressing the down arrow next to each person’s name. Save any Changes.
b. Select “New Attendee” to add new members to your account
6. Answer Additional Questions for all members. Press “Continue”
7. Agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Risk Waiver for all members. Press “Continue”
8. Press “Continue to Checkout”
9. Pay the minimum deposit of $100/person via Credit Card or E-check. Press “pay” at the bottom of the page.
10. Registration Complete!
