Biography:
Christopher Watkin (PhD, Cambridge) is Associate Professor of French Studies at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. He specializes in the big ideas that have shaped our world. He is the author of numerous books, including Difficult Atheism (2011), From Plato to Post-Modernism (2011), French Philosophy Today (2016), and the recent Biblical Critical Theory, a ground-breaking analysis of how the Bible’s overarching narrative both critiques and fulfills the aspirations of modern life and culture.
