The John and Anita Nelson Center for Sacred Music is responsible for the commissioning of composers, through invitation or competition, to compose new sacred music. 50% of the endowment earnings are devoted to the expenses of these commissions and their presentation. While many world-renowned musicians will perform these pieces, Wheaton College ensembles will have a high priority in premiering the new works.
