Early Childhood Music

Our comprehensive Early Childhood Music program develops aural skills, motor coordination and self control while instilling a lifelong love of music.

Early Childhood Music

CSA's multi-age Early Childhood Music program develops aural skills, motor coordination and self control while instilling a lifelong love of music.

Music Makers: At the Keyboard

Musikgarten's curriculum is a perfect musical foundation which prepares for private study on any instrument. Music Makers: At the Keyboard emphasizes making music independently and with others. The approach to reading music is both aural and visual. Activities include dancing, drumming and composing, all of which nurture tonal, aural and rhythmic development.

What's Next?

CSA's music program begins with Early Childhood Music classes and progresses toward Private Lessons.

As a student advances through our Early Childhood program, we have many opportunities to explore more avenues of music learning prior to Private Instruction:

  • Music Makers: At the Keyboard (Ages 6-9) provides a musical foundation for private study on any instrument
  • Suzuki Little Stars (Semi-Private Suzuki Lessons, Ages 4-6) introduces the Suzuki method on a chosen instrument (violin/viola, piano, or guitar) through singing, body percussion, listening, observing and imitating

Our Beethoven's Buddies program facilitates cognitive and emotional growth for students and adults of all ages with developmental delays through Private Piano lessons and our Clementi's Colorful Chimes class.

Music Makers: At the Keyboard

Three levels of Music Makers: At the Keyboard is offered, whereupon completion of level three, students may advance into private lessons or join Young Musicians 4 (YM4). A 66-key, weighted keyboard or acoustic piano is required for home practice. Parent attends last 15 minutes.
