Samantha Kurapaty

Samantha is a 2nd-year doctoral student in clinical psychology on the Neuropsychology track. Her background is in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Samantha is interested in biological mediators of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRDs) and the development of new measures to sooner capture cognitive decline in at-risk older adults. Samantha hopes to pursue board-certification in neuropsychology, working primarily with adults and older adults. She also hopes to do therapy with couples and families, particularly from collectivist backgrounds. Samantha plans to work in hospital, academic medical center settings, and private practices in the future.
