Men’s Glee Club France Tour 2027

Pèlerinage: Songs of Journey and Brotherhood
May 11–20, 2027
Music has the power to build friendships, strengthen the Church, and proclaim the Gospel across cultures. The Wheaton College Men's Glee Club will embark on its first international tour since 2017, traveling throughout France to perform, worship, and serve alongside local churches and ministry partners. Centered around the concert program “Pèlerinage: Songs of Journey and Brotherhood,” the tour will explore themes of faith, pilgrimage, and community through choral music.
Throughout the ten-day journey, students will perform in historic churches, worship with local congregations, experience French culture, and build lasting relationships through music and fellowship.
A Relationship Rooted in Service
This tour grows out of a friendship that spans more than a decade. Since the Men's Glee Club first visited Lyon in 2013, Wheaton College alumni Caryn (Bell) and Michael DiGena have welcomed the ensemble as ministry partners while serving as missionaries in France. Their vision has always extended far beyond presenting concerts. Through music, this tour seeks to:
- Bring musical excellence that glorifies God and blesses the local community.
- Strengthen relationships that open doors for Gospel conversations.
- Introduce students to the spiritual landscape of France and the work of missions.
- Encourage churches and believers through worship and fellowship.
- Experience the history, culture, language, and beauty of France.
Music, Ministry, and Cross-Cultural Connection
The France Tour is much more than a concert tour. Through performances, worship services, homestays with local families, service opportunities, and conversations with ministry leaders, students will experience the richness of French culture while deepening their understanding of God's work around the world.
