As Director of International Student Programs, Jerry empowers international students (F-1 visa, MKs & TCKs) to flourish by advising student organizations, advocating for international student needs, mentoring students, and providing leadership for the F-1 visa student program. Partnering with his office staff and student leaders, Jerry seeks to fulfill a vision of developing students that follow Jesus as members of God's global kingdom, through relationships that foster belonging, active learning experiences, and meaningful engagement with their communities. He considers it a privilege to know God more deeply through his experience and support of a vibrant and multicultural community at Wheaton.
Jerry celebrates daily the gift of being husband to Joan (’07), and father to Noah and Luther. He enjoys cooking traditional foods from Ecuador (where his family is from) and Chile (where he lived until high school) and is an avid fan of world futbol.

As a '96 alumna, Corrie attributes much of the long-term trajectory of her life after Wheaton to the experiences and learning gained from involvement in various intercultural settings. Because of this, she seeks to be sensitive to the unique needs that international students have in adjusting to the U.S. culture and campus life in which they find themselves here. She is also passionate about supporting college students desiring to grow in their capacities to become strong and effective leaders in our increasingly globalized society. In this specific role, Corrie hopes to provide helpful assistance to F-1 international students navigating all visa regulations, as well as provide overall support within the ISP in its goals to foster belonging, connection, and engagement for all international students at Wheaton. She also has the opportunity to advise one of the ISP's student led-organizations, Axis, which seeks to facilitate programming between the international and broader campus community.
Corrie and her husband, Jamie, along with their two kids, Micah and Abby, are grateful to call Wheaton home and love to host gatherings of new friends and old from all parts of the globe. Feel free to invite yourself over anytime, as you will be most definitely welcome!
Ezza Haroon

Ezza is excited to join the International Student Programs as a first-year Graduate Resident Advisor while pursuing her Master’s in Higher Education and Student Development at Wheaton College.
Originally from Gujranwala, Pakistan, Ezza spent her childhood living in several cities across the country, which gave her a deep appreciation for people from different cultures and backgrounds. She earned her Bachelor’s in Education from Forman Christian College, Lahore, where she served as both a Resident Assistant and Teaching Assistant for two years. These experiences strengthened her love for student leadership, mentorship, and creating spaces where students can thrive.
Through her time with ISP, Ezza hopes to create a welcoming, Christ-centered community where students feel seen, supported, and encouraged. As a Graduate Resident Advisor, she hopes to mentor students, celebrate cultural diversity, and encourage growth in faith, community, and calling.
Outside of work and school, Ezza enjoys cooking, discovering new recipes, listening to music, exploring new places, and connecting with people. She looks forward to growing alongside the Wheaton community and investing in the lives of students in ISP!
Hanna Yu

After completing an M.A. in TESOL and intercultural studies at Wheaton College in 2025, Hanna has returned to pursue an M.A. in Higher Education and Student Development.
Having lived abroad outside her country (Korea) for 20 years, Hanna has come to understand the unique journeys and struggles of international students deeply, especially Missionary Kids (MKs) and Third Culture Kids (TCKs). She aspires to walk alongside international students as they navigate new transitions and discover their identities and sense of belonging. Through her work in ISP, Hanna wants to create a safe, comfortable space where students feel known, heard, and accepted in Jesus, while helping them to grow in their faith and be equipped for the Kingdom work. She will also be advising Ladder, the ISP cabinet that offers one-on-one support for new international students to establish meaningful, family-like relationships.
She is a polyglot and an avid traveler. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, sewing, decorating her home, and spending time with her husband and three children. She looks forward to engaging with international students and seeing them thrive!
