Each year the Alumni Association’s Board of Directors awards financial and nonfinancial grants and awards to faculty, students, and alumni. Funds for these grants flow from the annual Wheaton Fund, which also supports every faculty member’s salary and every student’s academic program.

Support to convene a group of English and theology faculty to provide feedback on a manuscript offering theological perspectives on the Harry Potter series.
Dr. Sarah Holman, Conservatory of Music
Support to present at a conference for voice science, performance, and pedagogy, organized by the European Voice Teachers Association in Lucerne, Switzerland. Following the conference, she will launch a year-long project based on a writing invitation from The Journal of Singing.
Dr. Alexander Loney, Modern and Classical Languages
Support for a project that explores themes of nostalgia and homesickness in early Greek literature, with a particular focus on the epics of Homer and Hesiod.

Wheaton College’s ten-week Summer Research Program provides opportunities for Wheaton undergraduates to conduct independent and collaborative research projects under the guidance of faculty mentors.
