Sunday Competition Policy

No varsity athletic or club team practices or competitions are permitted on Sundays. This prohibition includes the rescheduling of games due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances whether at home, or on the road. Other activities prohibited on Sundays include team banquets, department/team sponsored study halls, and other required team activities.

Students are allowed to participate in curricular-related competitions related to an academic department (e.g. Debate Team in the Communication Department) that on occasion may only occur on Sundays with the understanding that every effort will be made to participate in a local church worship service or to organize worship at the site of the professional activity.
