Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act

The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act requires co-educational institutions of postsecondary education that participate in a Title IV federal student financial assistance program and have an intercollegiate athletic program, to prepare an annual report to the Department of Education on athletic participation, staffing, and revenues and expenses, by men's and women's teams. The U.S. Department of Education uses this information to prepare its required reports to the U.S. Congress on gender equity in intercollegiate athletics. Information regarding the Wheaton College intercollegiate athletics program as well as a copy of Wheaton’s current EADA report can be found at the Wheaton College Title IX website.

Wheaton College prohibits discrimination on the basis of gender in all of its programs, including athletics. Questions, concerns, or complaints related to this policy should be directed to the College’s Title IX Coordinator & Equity Officer for Students.
