Graduate Student Housing
Wheaton College provides a limited number of furnished housing options for graduate students.
Apartments and Houses
- Saint and Elliot Apartments
- One-bedroom apartments available for single and married graduate students.
- Single students are assigned two per apartment.
- Family Housing (limited availability for International and Colson Scholar families)
Eligibility
Housing is prioritized for International and Colson Scholar individuals/families. Domestic graduate students, couples, and families may be accommodated if space allows.
- Leases are limited to a maximum of two years (Ph.D. students should note this restriction).
Application Process
- Housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Applications may be submitted:
- Fall semester: beginning the first day of classes in January (of the same year).
- Spring semester: beginning the first day of classes in August (of the previous year).
- A signed Tenant Agreement confirms acceptance.
- Non-refundable housing charge applies if canceled after the start of the term billing date.
Billing and Inclusions
- Charges are billed to the student’s account in one lump sum at the start of each semester (fall, spring, and summer).

- Rent
- All utilities (including wireless internet)
- Laundry facilities
- A storage cage
2020 Housing Rates (per fall semester)
- Single graduate students: $3,020
- Married couples without children (1 BR Apt.): $5,350
- Married couples with children (2 BR Apt.): $6,345
- Married couples with children (House): $7,090
