Current students and recent graduates can schedule a 30-minute appointment (in-person or virtual) with a career coach through Handshake.
Wheaton's career coaches are assigned to academic departments (listed below), allowing them to specialize in their work with students and build deeper connections with faculty and alumni. This strategy is part of our effort to engage with all students so that they can prepare their unique plan, develop the skills and tools necessary to achieve their plan, and be given the opportunities to implement their plan so that they are ready to build the church and benefit society worldwide.Schedule an Appointment with Handshake
About the Coaching Team
Career coaches use our Blueprint process to guide students in developing their skills, interests, and values. Coaches then connect students with real-life opportunities to explore a wide range of careers. Finally, coaches teach students about the hiring process, including telling their stories, networking, searching, and even negotiating.
It is our goal to equip you for a lifetime of career and vocational pursuits, giving you all the tools you will need for this first job and all those that will follow.
