Disaster Ministry Conference

An integral part of the program is attendance at the annual Disaster Ministry Conference each summer. This national conference equips church and lay leaders to serve amid disasters (e.g., natural disasters, refugee crises, mass shootings, acts of terrorism) domestically and internationally. The event features global leaders in disaster ministry, emergency management, humanitarian aid, public health, and mental health fields. HDL students will get additional, focused time with these speakers and leaders to learn from their experiences, make connections, and build relationships.
