Stanley W. and Jeannette A. Bakke Endowment for Intellectual and Imaginative Engagement

The Bakke Endowment for Intellectual and Imaginative Engagement was established by Stan and Jeannette Bakke in 2025 to support the Wade Center in efforts to creatively share the thought and writings of the seven Wade authors. This endowment offers occasional lectures as well as artistic presentations of all types including periodically commissioning new works.

Stan and Jeannette Bakke are long-time Friends of the Wade and Wheaton Class of 1961. The Bakkes have had a close connection to the Wade Center dating back to their student days and their friendship with our founder Clyde S. Kilby. In addition, Stan has served on the Wade Center Board since 2006.
