Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, I had the unique experience of attending the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences located on the last farm in the city. I went on to obtain both a B.S. in Public Service Administration in Agriculture and a Masters of Public Administration from Iowa State University. Through God’s providence, my entire career has been in the area of recruitment across multiple industries. Kim MatsumotoAbout me
I was born in Chicago and raised in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. I have two brothers (one is a Wheaton alum) and we are sansei: third-generation Japanese-American. I have a B.A. in English from Seattle Pacific University and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Chicago. I love cookies and all kinds of music: Bluegrass, Big Band, Baroque, Folk Rock, Doo Wop, Latin Jazz, Motown, Pop, and forms of worship.

Why I love working at Wheaton College in Graduate Admissions
The absolutely, positively favorite part of my job is interacting with students. Some students are exploring where their passions, gifts, and goals might intersect. Others have found that junction. All of them are considering how Wheaton can help them on their journey. If you are, were, or might be a Wheaton College graduate student, thank you for letting me walk alongside you for a time. The peace of Christ to you.

Ashley CondraAbout me
A recent graduate of the M.A. in Higher Education and Student Development ('20), as well as an undergraduate alum ('04), I am a testament to Wheaton College's transformative educational experience. Before returning to Wheaton for graduate-level studies, I spent nine years teaching high school English at private Christian schools, earning an M.A. in English from Middlebury College's Bread Loaf School of English in 2017. My years as a Christian school educator fostered a love for mentoring and spiritual formation, and I returned to Wheaton in 2018 to pursue this kind of student development at the Graduate School. As a graduate student, I served as a Student Ambassador for the Graduate Admissions Office where I witnessed firsthand the shepherding role admissions staff can have in students' educational journeys. I am excited to join the College community as a Graduate Admissions Counselor and to work to bring other students into the transformative mission of Wheaton College.

Why I love working at Wheaton College in Graduate Admissions
I love working at Wheaton because of its vibrant and iron-sharpening community of staff and faculty who see their work as an eternal investment.
